Cooldine Now Favourite For Hennessy After Punter Confidence Continues!

Irish Hennessy gamble Cooldine will be looking for a return to form in this weekend’s big race, after declaring amongst a final field of eight for the Grade One chase today.

Willie Mullins’ second-season chaser was last seen pulling-up in the Lexus Chase but a strong ante-post support with William Hill suggests that confidence is high for the eight-year-old who has been backed down to 7-4 from opening odds of 7-2.

The competitive line-up also includes 5-2 second-favourite Joncol, and sole English raider Money Trix – who rates as a 3-1 chance with Hills to win the race for Greystokes trainer Nicky Richards.

Spokesman for William Hill, Tony Kenny, said: ‘’This is one of the most competitive Hennessy’s for some time. Not a single runner can be categorically ruled-out, but at present all of the ante-post support has surrounded Cooldine, suggesting that a return to form could be imminent for Willie Mullins’ charge.’’
