Draw Results & Latest Betting For The William Hill Lincoln

The draw for the 2010 William Hill Lincoln was made live on Atttheraces this morning, where stall allocations for the 22-runner field were revealed.

Collateral Damage was the first runner drawn in the process, taking stall 16 for the in-form Tim Easterby yard.
William Haggas’s long-time ante-post favourite Penitent has drawn stall one. The son of Kyllachy has been as big as 10-1 in the ante-post betting and remains the 9-2 favorite following his favourable draw in stall one.

A ‘car-park’ draw was made for second favourite Doctor Crane who represents last year’s winning trainer John Gosden, and Hills have now eased his price to 12-1 from 10-1, leaving Mull of Killough (drawn 10) as the sole 10-1 second-favourite.

Richard Fahey holds five entries in the famous handicap with Extraterrestrial (allocated stall four) looking the most handily treated by the draw process. Stablemate Harrison George – a live ante-post gamble with Hills – will be berthed in Stall 17.

David Hood, spokesman for William Hill, said: ‘’It seems that everything is beginning to fall perfectly for the ante-post favourite Penitent. Drawn bang next to the rail, with a wealth of pace around him, and conditions looking ideal there can be few excuses on the day. We were punished last year with an immense gamble on Expresso Star and the writing could be on the wall for a repeat in 2010.’’
