Money Comes For Rumoush As Hamdan’s Filly Confirmed For Guineas Bid!

MONEY COMES FOR RUMOUSH AS HAMDAN’S FILLY CONFIRMED FOR GUINEAS BID!

Following the news that she will take her chance in next week’s 1000 Guineas, William Hill report a significant gamble on Rumoush for the opening Fillies’ Classic.

Within the last 24-hours Hills have fielded some sizeable bets for Hamdan Al Maktoum's filly – who took the Feilden Stakes in stylish fashion at headquarters last week.

The daughter of Rahy is now 9-1 from odds of 16-1 yesterday afternoon, placing her fourth in the betting behind 7-2 favourite Special Duty, Nell Gywn winner Music Show (6-1), and Luca Cumani’s highly-touted filly Seta (8-1).

As a daughter of Sarayir, Rumoush hails from the famed Height of Fashion line, which in addition to producing last year’s Guineas winner Ghanaati, is also responsible for equine legend Nashwan.

Kate Miller, spokeswoman for William Hill, said: ‘’ This does not appear on paper to be a vintage year for the 1000 Guineas, with doubts about some of the leading contenders. At the behest of four-time winning owner Hamdan Al Maktoum, Rumoush will line-up in next week’s race, and appears on paper to have all the right credentials for a Guineas winner.’’
