The booking of Frankie Dettori aboard Fleeting Spirit in this Friday’s Darley July Cup has sparked a predictable flow of money for the reigning champion with Hills forced to cut the filly’s odds to 9-2 from 5-1 this afternoon.

Starspangledbanner – now 13-8 from a post-Golden Jubilee price of 9-2 - has been the only runner that punters have looked to until today, with money fielded for Fleeting Spirit, Kinsale King cut to 7-1 from 10-1, and King’s Stand winner Equiano who was also trimmed to 16-1 from 20-1
