'Following these weather warnings punters have taken the tip and rushed to bet on a White Christmas in London, Cardiff and Glasgow, leaving us quoting the shortest odds for many a year this far away from December 25, of 6/1 for one or more flakes of snow to fall during the 24 hours of Xmas Day in each of those venues' said Hill's spokesman Graham Sharpe.
