Brown 16/1 Not To Be Leader At Next Election

After a weekend to forget for Gordon Brown, bookmakers William Hill are offering 16/1 that Gordon Brown will not be the Labour leader when the next Election is contested. An early 2009 Election is favourite at 11/10 and Hills have shortened David Cameron's Conservative party from 7/4 to 6/4 to win the Election with Labour the 1/2 favourites. a Hung Parliament is 7/4 from 2/1.

"There can be little doubt that the election fiasco has harmed Gordon Brown's credibility as the Labour leader and we have seen people nibbling at our next leader market today. The Prime minister will be happy to see the back of last week," said Hill's spokesman Rupert Adams
