BOOKIES SET TO PAY OUT ON WHITE EASTER - BUT SLASH ODDS FOR RECORD HOT SUMMER!

Bookmakers William Hill who had been offering odds of 8/1 about a White Easter in London, were preparing to pay out £10,000-plus to successful punters - but slashed the odds about record high temperatures this summer.
'It looks like we were on a five figure loser with our snow at Easter odds.And it could cost us even more.It has certainly snowed in London and we are awaiting confirmation from the weather men about snow in Glasgow - where we offered 6/1- and Cardiff, at 8/1' said spokesman Graham Sharpe, who added, 'Weather punters are now betting that our topsy-turvy weather will throw up a record breaking summer and we have slahed the odds about the highest UK temperature ever recorded being exceeeded this year from 20/1 to 10/1, while the odds for the temperature to top 100f in the UK this year, have also been cut, from 12/1 to 8/1.'
